The alternative name of blackjack is "twenty one". This game is slightly different, in terms of theme   , that the other regular games, which involve   competitions among the fellow players. And in blackjack, which is exceptional, the players compete against the dealer, not    against the fellow players. Here the term "dealer" refers to the representative of casino, who also facilitates the process of playing.

The detail procedure
The playing procedure of physical blackjack (played in a brick and mortar casino) and blackjack online is nearly identical.

Black jack is played with one or multiple decks. A deck refers to a set of 52 cards. To win this game, the players have to reach 21 points or points higher than the dealer's point without exceeding 21 points.

The players are presented with two cards initially and that is added to the total cards. Kings, queens and jacks are known as the face cards and those are treated equal to ten points. Both the player and the dealer can count the ace for two different levels of points, either 1 or 11 points. All other cards are counted on the basis of the numeric values printed on respective cards. After the players have received two initial cards, players can avail the option of "hit" that means taking of an additional card by the players. in a specific round , any one , of  the players  or dealer,  can win  upon reaching a 21 points or  reaching at the highest score not exceeding the  21 points . Reaching at a score   higher than 21 results in a loss and is called busting. If the dealer gets busted, a player holding points lower than 21 may win.

A player can escape taking additional card as well as busting, if the player has an ace valued to 11 points. This is called "soft hand". Hard hand refers to an opposite situation.

The dealer has to continue hitting until he reaches 17 points or more. The players, who does not get busted and have higher points than the dealer in total, considered winner. On the other hand, the dealer would lose if s/he get busted or has lower level of points than the players (not busted) have. If the score level of dealer and the player are found equal, a "push" is occurred. In a "push "situation, generally the players don't win or lose money.

Above is the basic rule of blackjack and blackjack online; many variations of blackjack rules are found throughout the world. Spanish 21 and pontoon, the two other popular casino games, are largely motivated by and similar to the rules of blackjack.
